Meet guide (Kevin) at train station. Transfer to hotel (Datong Hotel): shower, breakfast. Visit Yungang Grottoes. Lunch (guide did not join us). Drive to Datong "Great Wall," hike across fields. Drive back to city, drop off at Huayan Monastery. Walk around town (shopping district). Taxi to hotel. Relax. Walk to hot pot – embarrassing. (Don’t know what to do with bones, too much food, on/off flames, can’t understand waitress, wait staff trying to peek at bill.) Walk back to hotel & sleep.
